Ignore eBay estimate for shipping. All orders received Thursday through Sunday will ship Monday. Orders received Monday through Wednesday will ship following day.

This listing is for one live 7-8 inch male Australian Red Claw Crayfish.

FREE heat pack (when needed) . I will make that determination by checking the weather since I have to replace the dead ones. I only ship Monday through Wednesday . Although I will ship on Thursday if you are in the state of California . They are shipped in a medium flat-rate box and arrive in 1 to 3 days. I can fit 2 per box so message me if you need 2 or more so that I can combine shipping. They come triple bagged with minimal water and pure oxygen. Of course I also guarantee live arrival.

In a home aquarium these giant crayfish are real jaw droppers! They make excellent pets but are also real escape artists. A tight fitting aquarium lid is a must for these guys. These tasty crustaceans are gaining popularity and are going to be the next big thing in aquaponics and aquaculture due to the speed at which they grow.(A one inch baby will be a 3 to 4 in juvenile in just 30 days)

Proportionately they have more meat on their tail than our local crayfish. The Taste is a cross between snow crab and lobster . Delicious and very delicate . They present favorably and cook up bright cherry-red .

Red Claw crayfish are omnivorous, peaceful animals that do not require a high protein diet. It's recommended to put one male with 3 females for breeding purposes.
The males grow to over 14 inches and can weigh up to 600 grams or 1 1/3 pounds. The claws are reminiscent of a Maine Lobster. Males have bright red patches on the outside of their claws. The females have slightly subdued bluish-green coloring with no red patches. I have occasionally seen a large female with intense blue coloring.

The preferred breeding water temperature for these guys is 75 to 85° spawning...
