A few days with refridegeration appropriate. Make sure you refrigerate those that are left over immediately. You can even freeze them after your done, use the latest Crabcakes, just reheat the crab and pick the meat out (to keep all of their shells if Tho freezing, for better texture). The only other thing to say is to find a trash can remotely get rid of your refusal (perhaps a park or storelot), the garbage service is going to be late this week, stinky.
