If you have a gentility partner, the female will father her eggs and normally they like big leaves to sire on....but not perfectly picky as to where....they are much like angels.....after 3-5 days, they will enter on to brood.....if ANY other fish are in the tank with them, they will possibly eat the eggs before they contrive or eat the unfettered swimming fry (which happens after 7-10 days)

DR are very aggressive. In a large tank you may be able to keep them with other large cichlids or maybe a large pleco. Even 2 RDs keeping together is risky.
