Stride 16 (Bloomberg) - Russia May reintroduce convict labor based on the Soviet image as an alternative to incarceration as part of an overhaul of the prison system, Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The Lock-up service has developed federal legislation based on the Soviet practice of sending convicts to work, often in occupations potentially hazardous chemical plants and construction projects, the government newspaper, reported from Memorial Today 'hui.

Jury convicts Warren Co. man for fraud

I have no specific experience with the convicts, but I'm with other cichlids. My experience is that parents do not recognize their own eggs after a big move like that and they might eat them all.

If you mess with the eggs they'll probably just eat. Just let everything go as it is. If this is their first spawning, they eat them in May and in any way. Relax, there will be more.

Yes, it is a fact that they uproot both artificial and real live plants. I had convicts in the past so I know just how they do it.

That tank is too small for one Convict, let alone a mated pair. A mated pair of Convict Cichlids need a tank of 30 gallons or larger. It is true that they can dig, but if they are anchored down quite firmly then I doubt it will be a problem.
