I will let you do the examination yourself. Take a look at Sanjay's Lighting orientation . He tested bulbs with varied electronic ballasts and then you can see for yourself, in bitter #'s, how much contrast there is between them. There is a bigger character in the CCT (color) between the ballasts than there is in PPFD (PAR) output. You quite saw that conversion. Looks like the IceCap burns the bulb whiter in your holder, but that doesn't skilled it's putting out any more PAR.
